Chairman

1. Elected by Executives

2. Serves for 6 month terms

3. Is NOT term limited
   

Elected Council Members

1. One seat exists per Division (Trade, Security, etc.)

2. Elected by the majority votes among ODINT members bi-annually

3. Elections held January 15 and June 15

4. Serves for 6 month terms

5. Are term limited to 4 consecutive terms

Nominations

1. Nominated members must be members of Odyssey Interstellar for at least 2 months

2. Nominated to a Specific Division

3. Nominated by at least one other Senior or higher

4. Seconded by a second Senior or higher

5. Nominations taken over a 48 hour period

Campaigning

1. A period of campaigning occurs after Nominations

2. List of Candidates must be announced within 24 hours after Nominations are complete

3. Campaign period lasts for 120 hours (5 days)

Elections

1. The election period begins at the end of the allotted campaigning time.

2. Elections held with a voting application

3. Votes must be within the same campaign period of 120 hours (5 days) starting January 15 or June 15

4. Voters consist of Juniors and higher

Emergency Elections

1. In the case of vacancy, an emergency election will be held within a fortnight

2. All other rules above for elections must be followed

3. Elections held with a voting application

4. Votes must be within a period of 48 hours

5. Voters consist of Juniors and higher

Winners

1. Majority Vote of 25% or more

2. Less than 25% for any one candidate calls for a run-off election

3. Run-off includes 3 candidates with the highest percentage of votes tie and the Chairman votes between the top two candidates
